Localization of web sites into Thai requires considerable knowledge of HTML tags as well as translation and DTP skills and therefore holds many traps for the unwary. (See Thai localization Guide for details)

- Translation of text-in-graphics and reworking of those graphics
- Layout of the translated text into the HTML files, making appropriate adjustments to styles for Thai:
- Font tags are set for PC and Macintosh, and font sizes are increased to reflect the difference between Thai font sizes and English font sizes
