Translation

All translation undertaken is separately edited and proof-read. User manuals are often done by our in-house translators, whereas more technical work is translated by our specialist contractors. Many of these contractors effectively work exclusively for us full-time. All contractors have daily email access, to allow us to monitor progress and begin editing simultaneously.

Our in-house editors have extensive experience, excellent Thai language skills, an eye for accuracy that few possess, and a sense of commitment to getting every job right, no mater how long it takes.

Glossary Production

There is no accepted standardization for technical terminology in the Thai language. Such common terms as "network", "error", "file", "wizard" have multiple translations in common use . The major IT vendors vary their terminology between products, and currently-existing glossaries are both inadequate and inaccurate. The glossary for a specific project may even depend on the target group of end-users and translation growth considerations. Consequently, production of comprehensive and accurate glossaries is the key to the success of Thai localization projects. We undertake glossary production in two formats: source/target and source/explanation/target. Glossaries are produced by our senior linguistic staff working in close cooperation with acknowledged experts in the field of the translation

Editing and Proof-reading (only)

Often we are asked to repair or improve previously translated work. We can provide rapid turnaround if necessary to salvage projects that have gone off the critical path.
